Kensington Primary School
encourages student pride in the school. Active student involvement
in beautifying the school helps to build this sense of pride. Students
participate in the maintenance of the school grounds through the
'gardening club' and student's artwork is proudly displayed both inside
and outside the buildings.
Autumn is a beautiful time around Kensington. Children having been working hard in previous months, planting some beautiful flowers and plants and getting the garden beds established before Winter hits. The 'gardening club' have planted many new native plants and flowers. The lack of water this winter has hits the gardens hard, but the children from 4-5K have been collecting all of the 'wasted water' from beneath the drinking fountains and using it to keep our plants happy. |
