Since 1881 Kensington Primary school has been educating a diverse range of children and the community continues to celebrate and embrace this diversity. The school seeks to maintain a respect for each other’s beliefs and different cultural backgrounds that really enlivens this community. There is a strong focus on learning through the arts and the children are given many opportunities to perform, create and grow in confidence. There is a very high level of participation in the school from the parent community. Many of the programs and school improvements have been achieved and many programs enhanced due to this significant input from the parent body. The children are engaged in many extracurricular activities and as a result they are encouraged to be actively involved, to explore and learn new things, meet new people and challenge themselves. The children work cooperatively and support each other in their learning and are encouraged to set goals and reflect upon their achievements.Bridget McLaughlin- Principal
